After putting a set of valves, piston and rings into the WR I got a handful of rides over the last few months but a recent check of valve clearances showed them closing up. After resetting I think I have had a ride in it and then today it decided to pump out some blueish smoke and be a bit of a pig to start. Engine out again I suppose...

So finally got the chance to do some work on the bike. Quick leak down check suggested the exhaust valves weren't sealing too well, the rad was well low on oil as well. So whipped the cam cover off to check clearances and then noticed a milky, creamy residue inside the cam cover. So suspecting the head gasket I pulled the engine out and took the head off. Looks damaged to me, bottom left of the gasket. Valves look a bit dirty as well, specially the exhaust one on the bottom right, it would of been beside the damaged bit of gasket.

Damage on the gasket lines up with 7-8oclock on the cylinder
