Hi

My bike was fine a week ago and it's been parked up since then outside with a cover on.

This morning when I strated it up the FI light came on and stayed on all the time but the bike seems to be running fine.

Any ideas?

It's a 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R 636 B1H.

There's a lead you can short to Earth on the loom and it will give you the error code

Self diagnosis terminal! As you look at the back of the bike you will find it to the RHS of the battery tucked in beside the terminal. Ignition on, ground the lead and wait for the FI light to flash a sequence of long and short duration flashes. Note it down then post it back and the manual gives a code table to tell what the code refers to.

Thanks. The fault code was for air flow sensor but it as the wire that was broken rather than the sensor so all fixed now.
