Top right is to adjust the fork top adjusters, left is to remove the cartridge kit from the tube and spanner is for retaining the cartridge body whilst removing the cap for spring changes .... You can see why standard tools dont fit !

Clearly not .. the lip is too thick - they would be cookie squashers rather than cutters....

I never said they were the perfect tools for the job, just that they would do in an emergency.
