Yup - incredible isnt it - poor Pazzo must be thinking that their days of selling levers for circa £140 are numbered.

They will fit.
They will work - perfectly.
You will forever chuckle at the scare-mongerers

Carbon_ZX6R

they fit absolutely perfectly clutch lever feels a hell of a lot heavier and ive just noticed I can pull the brake lever into the bar on all settings so I may have to check the fluid lvl as that don't seem right to me but bloody bargain of the year I think and cheaper than genuine replacement levers

these ones don't take brass bushings though

Until they go brittle and snap. You won't be laughing then.

So a heavier clutch action, no room to fit the anti wear bush and the brake lever coming back to the bar on all settings.

Bargain...................

So these Chinese levers have undergone quality testing as per the Euro levers? I doubt it. Whilst they may look the same on the outside, it's highy likely that they'll be inferior in material grade. I'd rather pay the extra than save a few pence and take the risk. Your choice though innit.

Course they will. Some cheap Chinese lever bound to be stronger than something that has to undergo testing to be sold worldwide innit. Like I said, your choice.

Would you put your child in a Chinese copy car seat that had under gone no testing?  I wouldn't, the same applies for brake levers.

The material grade is just that though. They claim to be made out of 6061 with a T6 temper. I have little reason to doubt them. Billet with a temper is still going to be vastly stronger than cast (which is what they are bolted to)

The reality is that the only difference between the Pazzo's and these ones is that the Pazzo's have been 'tumbled' to debur them and soften the edges. In fact they may have been tumbled in any case, but maybe for 15 minutes instead of 3 or 4 hours which the pazzo's got.

I recall seeing a debate about Rolls Royce using BMW engines in their cars, and the RR engineer stated, that it wasn't what they were using as the base power plant, but the standard to what they were finished to. It is that finishing to a given standard which is what really cost the money as it it more time consuming, and that is really across the board in engineering.
