first plate in UK

Hello, all, just come back to the uk after 30 years away, have brought my 2004 10r with me  and in the process of getting a uk plate. DVLC needs a document proving the year of manufacture; I can get it from Kawasaki but cost of£54. DVLC will accept a doc from owners club , needs to be on msn ninjas headed paper. We aren't that organised , You'd need verification from parts fiche
Would you not be able to get this from your local Kawasaki dealer if accepted as they would be able to give this info and put it on headed note paper ?

Thats quite cheap compared  to trying register a uk  bike in Spain which is over €800.on top of that the bike must be exactly as manufactured no extras or after market parts. So i would just pay it its about the same price if not less than to register a new vehicle.Its a lot easier than getting any comeback later on.
