Just don't seem to like the feel I get with them... I know they're really good tyre's, but I feel a lot better on Bridgestone and Pirelli's that I've had in the past. Also, it doesn't help that the guy before me put 1600 miles on them just doing motorway miles so turning in feels like falling of the edge of the world. I'd probably be ok with them if I had them from new but I fancy a change.

I can understand that - it's difficult to buy the same thing if you think it's throwing good money after bad.

Have you checked your suspension settings so you know the previous owner hasn't done something odd with them?

The only reason I'm suggesting this is that I run the original Sportsmarts on my road bike and feel wise they compare well with what I get from the tyres on my track bike.

I'm layed up in bed for the next month or so but after that I will have a look at suspension, won't be buying tyres until I'm able to start riding again anyway. Hadn't even thought that he may have changed it, who in their right mind buys a brand new rc8 and sells it after doing 1600 miles anyway?! Must've been a wrong'un...

Yeah, I can't work out why I don't like them either after all the reviews I've read. Most people rave about them.

Millhouse

If you fancy I'll wear the sides down for you so they'll be evenly worn.

No need to even thank me, just keep the tank topped up....

You might learn how to get your knee down if you ride a proper bike, that would be nice for you!

Pfft, kneedown is for show offs.

Knackered tyres will feel crap regardless of being good ones or not.
If you're just using your bike on the road, Supercorsas, etc are a waste of money.  Buy some road tyres rather than something that is a racetrack biased tyre.
