So I'm moving house at some point this year, in the process of buying at the minute, anyhow, the most important factor is that I go from a single to double garage... So need more tools and maybe bikes to fill up a larger space. First on the shopping list is a bike lift... Any ninjas have one... Any recommendations?

Was looking at the clarke CML3 from machine mart! Any experience of them?

Cheers, Matt.

Guard your garage space well young one for she ploteth to fill it with Xmas decorations and kids tricycles and shit.

Its too late for me, save yourself.

PS - No idea on the ramp, no space, its full of kids bikes and Xmas decorations.

She knows better that to suggest such ploys. At present the garage has law mower and such junk cluttering up the place... This is destined for a shed along with all other non-motorbike related sh1te.

I have just gone from a double to single garage, bloody nightmare.

As Dom says guard your space well before you know it there will be all kinds of shit put in there.

That's the current arrangement and I don't plan on that changing

When we moved out of our flat, the house having a garage was a non-negotiatable priority. What do you need a garage for, she said? What's wrong with this house with the lovely en-suite and a car-port, she said?

I remained firm, but now said garage is indeed overflowing with shite of the above nature. Frankly, I feel fortunate that the bike hasn't ended up on the drive.

I've harped on about how massive my garage is as you can comfortably fit 4 cars in it and a shit load of bikes..... and that's only the ground floor!!

However..... after 6 years of living here, it's now mainly house stuff, neighbours stuff, 2 bikes and 2 cars crammed in with no walking space around.

Hardly the man-palace I was dreaming of........

I managed to work on the Buell yesterday, but I was perched on a bag of cement and I had to move stuff each time I needed to work on a different part of the bike!!

I agree with you - if I can ever afford to buy a place I don't care if it's even got a roof - but it needs a garage.
