I was in my local dealer on Saturday and he mentioned that they were one of few dealers getting one of these bikes as a demonstrator and subsequently I am booked for a test ride at the end of April..   :moto:

I love the looks of it and with the GSX R engine from 2008 it should be 'entertaining'

Now lets hope the company bonus pays out this year..    or they have some good 0% deals..

The Dealer is called Pro Bike in Newbury and the time they have the bike is Monday 27th April until Thursday the 30th April..

Plenty of spaces left at the moment if you're local and fancy a test ride..

a few choice mods and it'll look even better IMO....

Roll on end of April..

Does it remind you of a motorcycle?

I hope the customer bikes lean over further than the one in the promo vid

The Moto GP blue would get my vote though.

I will certainly report back..

It looks a bit like a Tuono in profile IMO but I prefer the front end of this as it's much more integrated with the clocks and lights being bar mounted and not stuck out front.

All the main players have similar bikes on the market right now but for me this is the best looking of the bunch right now..  It comes in a matt grey colour too..

My only dislike on the looks front is the high mounted front indicators..

I like the red one. It certainly does the look the part, will be interesting to see if goes as well as it looks.

Me to..

I'm riding a Yamaha FZ8 right now so this will be faster, on a par with looks IMO and will certainly handle better as the FZ8 suspension is budget with no fork adjustment and you can only adjust the rear shock for pre-load.

Shame it doesn't come in white..

It's the first bike in a long time that's actually got me thinking about putting my hand in my pocket..

Hope it doesn't disappoint on the ride..

Do I understand correctly that it uses the K5 GSXR1000 lump?

Looks like a factory version of Manic's streetfightered Phantom GSXR after his Melbourne Loop highside.

yep..  de-tuned for midrange but still rumoured to be around 145 bhp..  no wonder they've put traction control on it..
