I also have my doubts about the frame/fork alignment as well if I'm honest!
Definitely not a misfire, its a slip of some kind.

In a real turn of events, the seller text me to see if I got home ok and was mortified to hear about the 5th gear issue. He's offered to come and collect it tomorrow and give me a refund.

I'll believe that when I see it though!

I don't think its the clutch, it pulls absolutely fine throughout the range on all other gears - apparently other people have had similar issues with WRFs of the same year.

Shame as other than that and the suspect frame alignment, it seems like a good bike.
