hi,

anyone got an Airoh helmet or know anyone who has that can comment on quality, availability etc ?

Thanks to those wonderful french port workers      it looks like it's gonna be ages before I can get my new Shark helmet.

I quite like Dovi's helmet design and after searching for it found the GP500 'first' design which i like in black / white.

just after a few opinions really..  Think I might have a hard time finding one in the uk to try before I buy..

cheers

Probably not a help but they make the best off road helmets by some distance.
Significantly faster than you.....

If it fits your head well, thats better than any (biased) review that someone may have.

Used to be poorly made but that was some time ago. The statement from Jonesy is bang on when I used to sell helmets fit was everything. Go try some on, other good mid price lids include X-lite (I have the entry level model which was £150), Nolan, HJC all have decent quality for affordable prices if you are looking for an interim lid.

If you have a "shark" head I would definitely buy before you buy as they have a very different fit to a lot of other brands.

Yeah I've already done the fitting thing and decided and ordered the shark Speed R nearly a month ago..  just getting pissed off waiting and none of the other main stream helmets grabbed my interest.

I've ruled out X-lite as I could not wear my glasses with it.

Any idea on a uk stockist for Airoh 'cause I've not managed to find one yet....

it would seem not..  but FC Moto in Germany do a no questions asked 14 day returns policy so for extra cost of return postage I could get one, try it and send it back if it was no good..

On the other hand J&S do sell HJC helmets and I'm gonna pop along to their Oxford branch and try them out.

Ive used fc Moto they also used to do cash on delevery
