Or in some cases writing off.

Both my b1 and the 675

What about you lot?
Life is a contact sport,  you'll be needing rule #5

Green_Ninja

ZX6R Trackbike, GPZ900R (not the best but should have kept that one)

Alzo

#2
All of them...broke my heart letting each go.

My Speed Triple R is really the only bike to date that I wish I had not let go.

Interesting.

I genuinely have missed at some point.

B1.
Streetfighter S.
RC8R.
Husaberg FS650.

I wish I'd kept my V4 Tuono, 05 10R longer than I did.
Significantly faster than you.....

My R1, my current bike I love and it does all things better than the R1 if you look at it objectively, but everytime I see a pic of it I miss it.

komp

not sure i would use the word regret as every bike i have purchased is better than the last
but i would have liked to have kept the B1 and the fireblade as loved them both
KTM 1290 Superduke GT
BMW R nine T

Lord Danoir the first

Bikes no, cars yes

I'd probably regret selling the Buell or the MV though. But these are the first bike I've ever bought with my heart.

But life is change.

I was particularly gutted to learn a couple of weeks ago from the dealer to whom I sold my lovely, pristine, perfectly spec'd Daytona 675 that a customer took it out for a test ride on a hot July afternoon and wrote it off...

A measure of trust from the dealer that he then threw me the keys to their brand new Tiger 800 XCx demo, notwithstanding that it was chucking it down with rain, and said "have fun, should be interesting in these conditions".

My ZRX1100.
I put a lot into that bike and sold it for bugger all in relative terms.

I loved my Buell in many ways but I had to trade it in when it started developing intermittent and totally insoluble and infuriating electrical problems having only done about 10k miles.

Yeah, you should never have gotten rid of that.

Gilby104

don't know if I regret selling it because it was good long term..... but I really really miss the Daytona

I could have typed that same sentence myself.

(was a 2006 yellow anniversary speed-block colours - what a looker!)

I miss them all but as Komp says, change is usually for better, more modern machinery.

I missed my Street so bad I bought another but to be honest, the Explorer is so damned good, the Street seems to have been a rose tinted purchase.  Then I see it in the garage or take it for a blast and I remember why I missed one so much.
