Unmarked Police Fireblade?

Went for a jaunt up to Brecon for a few hours this am  . Was a police car doing speed checks tucked away a bit (not suprising following some of the accidents up there this summer) but as I took my usual beat the traffic turning there was a discreetly parked up black blade (new shape not sure if 2013 model), gave the chap a wave but where and how he was parked made me wonder whether it was working with the car to catch folks doing daft things.

Anyone else seen anything similar in that area recently?

On a side note I really need to change the rear tyre as its orribly sqaured off
