Sure I heard rumours of a naked (bikes) race series. S1000r, Tuono, Z1000 etc. Now that would be great to watch. Flat bars, sit up and beg old style racing.  :moto: :moto: :moto: Would be good to compare the times to the superbikes or superstocks.

S1000r will dominate. Fact.

Think the Aprilia would give it a good race. And if there is was rules that the bike had to start off the button after the race the BMW would struggle.

I don't suppose they're becoming extinct because people are still buying them...... more like they're becoming irrelevant.

Gone are the days of riding up the Cat & Fiddle on something 600cc plus and feeling like you kicked its head in........ must be a thoroughly underwhelming experience scaring the shit out of yourself and knowing you just tickled the throttle the whole way.

I wouldn't know though, the newest sportsbike I've ridden on the road was a K1 Gixer thou..... and I didn't keep it long for that exact reason.....

WTF ... you lot need some red meat in your diets instead of walnut loaf .. gay-ist post I've seen in years.

So looking forward to the "whats the solution for my race leathers chafing me my mum says I should blah...." post.

PS. I do ride a 160bhp 1000cc motorcycle...so not completely gay...and surely some points for even posting a subject/question I felt worthy of debate.
