I'm a sucker for Italian bikes and cars and have always had a soft spot for Ducatis (I miss my 848 :(), so have been wanting to have a go on a Panigale for a while. I took out the S version and it's a bit special to say the least. Weird riding position but with almost flat bars, tumps of leg room it is almost comfortable.

It is a bit mental though, loud as hell and quicker than anything I've ridden before by a fair margin. Turns amazingly quickly but still ducati solid in the corners. Quickshifter was a laugh going up the box over 7k with a bit of tc light flashing made me feel like a hero (it's all lies it was damp and supercorsa sp's aren't exactly blessed with tread, and the tc was set to "definitely on and a lot" by the garage ... at my request  :embarrassed:).

So pro's, fast as fook more comfortable than I expected suspensions was a bit crashy at 30/40 but brilliant at motorway \ A road speeds. Sounds brilliant, looks great (I know its a bit marmite in the looks department as the ignorant fat suit felt obliged to tell me while he was looking at harleys ...)

Cons, it costs £20k ...

If I had the money to burn I probably would buy one (i.e. post lottery win). But that would be the only time. It is so much better than me it was mocking me the whole time I was out on it. Oh and my plums got really very warm which was unpleasant ...

Going to try and get a go on a S1000RR next month  :moto:
