Some things you just can't scrimp on.....

Absolutely, you only get one head look after it - Don't wear cheap helmets. Them cheapest lid I have ever bought was an HJC at about £80 reduced from £120 RRP. Worst lid I've ever had, fit was poor, noisy as feck, heavy, uncomfortable, etc etc but it was still streets ahead of the no name 'cheap' lids.


I will always pay for what matters, safety and protection be it tyres/brakes/helmets/gloves/boots. With helmets while Aria and Shoei are expensive they do make the best.

I very much doubt that, while your cheap helmet may be of reasonable quality it's not going to stack up to a proper one.

I very much doubt that, while your cheap helmet may be of reasonable quality it's not going to stack up to a proper one.

I have high end helmets and have always had high end helmets , mainly because I'm a tart and like a bit of carbon , I've tried numours ones over the years and I'm telling you these helmets are higher rated for safety than most entry level helmets from the major brands , higher than some of the mid level ones also , and the quality is on par with the low to mid
