According to my Cousin they are coming out later this year or very early next year, which is a pain for them as not many people will want to get a bike like this in the winter.

He has ordered two, one of which is sold already (deposit was left when they announced it), no prices known as yet.

but with a decent can, tail tidy and some work it could look a bit more like the original prototype they displayed

which i think is awesome, the only nekid i would consider

Apparently yes. Black will be a colour option.

My KTM dealer says he's only taken two deposits thus far but the 2014 UK batch will be less than 100 bikes.

I'm not sure it is. Brand new engine dev costs, top of the range suspension and brakes, full electronic aids suite, lightweight wheels etc etc.

I think you need to get real DeeDub. Bikes, along with everything else are just getting more expensive. You wouldn't expect to pay Mk 1 Escort money for a new Focus these days so why the same feeling towards the bikes?? The new Superduke R is as cutting edge as it gets.

I think it looks great...
