Life is a contact sport,  you'll be needing rule #5

Exactly the same as I had.

Matt finish is a shit to clean though.

Big bang engine is uninvolving.

Twat. It's awesome. The perfect engine, torque, revs and power. Not like a bland IL4.

;)
And he took the bait... ;)  :moto:

Any excuse to call you a twat really x x

I have some tips from when I had the mille.

Involves WD40, baby wipes and Wurth Helmet Cleaner.

But...

but...

it has gold wheels.

I thought gold wheels were a sin against God on the MOzometer.

Bike was so good I was willing to close my eyes this once. In an ideal world black wheels and black fork tubes would have sorted it.

Mark... have you ridden a 14b ? Defo try before you buy .... its marmite.. you'll either love it or hate it... personally ... i've firmly in the hate it camp ... (which was a huge disappointment at the time, as the looks grew on me when i was looking to replace the blade)

MOzZereLLa

Marmite looks or Marmite engine?

The engine is one of the best ever fitted to a motorcycle. It could look even worse than it does and still be awesome with that engine in it.

Don't share your love for this engine...speedo shows you're motoring...but it's like having sex with a condom...you're riding...but the sensation is numb. Not a piss take post...my genuine opinion.

For everyday riding you cannot beat a Triple engine...the pick up...the overrun...all music to the ears...BMW have done a great job on the S1000r engine...it pulls from anywhere and in any gear...had my love hate love relationship with this bike...but never once faulted the engine...V Twins bore me...and the big bang engine is designed to feel and act like a V Twin...they're fast without doubt...but just not what I want.

MOzZereLLa

Agree with you about the triple.

Love the torque the V2 produces but not the way it delivers it. R1 solved that problem. The ultimate engine.

You missed out "Fact"....so I'm guessing you're not 100% convinced.  ;)

I can see why people brough up on 4cyl engines with linear, sewing machine power curves dont get twins.  Took me ages to get the hang of my SP2 and it felt like I was short-shifting all the time and riding in a gear higher than I would on a 4cyl.
