Gonna check the alarm fuse tonight if it's still light and see where I go from there.

Although my skills with wiring aren't quite as retarded as they once were, I'm not sure I'd feel too confident attempting to rip the alarm out (as much as I'd like to).

Just spoken to a guy called Bike Alarm Man who was very helpful, he reckons I've blown either the 10amp fuse to the alarm or the bikes "Backup" fuse.

Did you ask about the battery...

Can't big up https://bikealarmman.com/ enough, spent 20mins on the phone to me earlier and practically pointed straight to the problem. Turned out the alarm fuse was fine, but it gets it power from the "backup" 10amp fuse in the main fusebox which had blown due to my ham fistedly trapping a wire.

I've got the R6 and Datatool S4 alarm.  Pain in the arse and I'll be bribing someone to remove it soon.  I have to leave mine in winter mode so it doesn't go off for no reason at all.

Luckily I've had no issues with it other than having to disarm it as I usually let it just passive arm so the movement sensor is rarely in use. It's far too sensitive otherwise!
