How exactly do I remove the power commander well I know how to I just follow the wires and unplug but I can't work out what to do then is there an unconnected wire somewhere do I plug 2 together or what? I'd like the bike to be useable when I've removed it if possible , also I've removed the hM quickshifter and it's plugged into the power commander? Thought they was stand alone units? , Also as no lights or anything come on the shifter or PC I presume they only have power when the bike is started not just ignition ?

The PC piggy backs onto the plugs at the tops of the cylinder head in series.  Make sure you remove the PC plugs and rejoin the original 2 as you go to avoid mixing them up.  The PC will also be clipped into the TPS wire somewhere.  Again, find it, unclip it and tape up the area where the clip went.  Be careful when you remove it not to slice the TPS wire in total....

Ahhhh I was right about that the big ass white plugs , that's where I got to and thought best ask , obviously the GPS is the only wire left but what is a tps wire? I'm glad that it's as simple as that shouldn't be a problem

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor.

It's the only other wire linked to the PC after the white plugs are disconnected.

You could always Google the manual download.

I did see where that was connected so I just unplug it leave the other end with nothing in and tape it up?

What colour is the hm switch ? Black is normally a hm pc ... not the stand alone unit (hm plus..red)

From memory the hm display comes on with just the ignition so you can adjust the direction and sensitivity (also has the option for killtime.. which do nothing). Without the engine running.. i'll check tonight for you

It's a hM quickshifter the silver one with a black display/switch plugged into a dynojet power commander , unfortunately I'm not selling it it's going on another bike

It might be different as it's plugged into the power commander

Got it off and bike seems to work ,no fuel in it so can't start but all the usual noises happen , very lucky with the b1h commander 4 plugs and a line to the negative terminal , looked at some of the other versions with 10 od plugs , no thank you!

How do you know it's worked without starting and running the bike? Hope it has like but seems a bit, you know, premature

It sounds exactly as it did before cycles then tells me the fuel pump has a problem (it's not connected) and starter goes , granted it doesn't start because it can't but it is behaving exactly the same as it did before I removed it , so unless a knocked something removing it which is possible as it was wrapped around everything! I'd say it's ok
