Good choice of bike, I got myself one in September, in the black/grey. The standard Bridgstones are poor. Your tyres will probably be changed by now so you won't have that issue. Only got about 2000 miles on mine so far but happy with it so far,apart from the aforementioned tyres. Nice smooth motor pulls from way down.
It's also called a Ninja 1000 in Australia.
