Good call....what happened to the Jaaag?...

****Mini hijack****

Having failed to bodge it in time for my wedding, I decided to put it on ice until my house is finished, which should be this year.

So, it's currently on axle stands in my garage looking a bit sorry for itself.

as you were.

No, I didn't spot that comment. Thanks for sharing. I bought my ticket a couple of months ago, though!  :azn: Anybody else going? There are supposed to be nearly 100 new wave, brat and café racer custom bikes there.  :afro:

I really wanted to go to that, but unfortunately the wife's away so I've got the kids to look after...

I tried, but Marwell Zoo won out...

Which was fine. Really enjoyed it actually...

And kids had a blast.

The "merry cats" (meercats) were probably the favorite.

Really good. There were lots of cool bikes. My favourite was this 1955 Matchless with a 2001 KTM520 engine in it. It was almost all built from bits bought on eBay. Old school looks but with a fast engine and decent brakes!  :moto: Wouldn't be much use in the twisties, though!

I like his paddock stand.

I also spoke with deBolex about a triple tree conversion. They've done that to the same model of CB750 as mine. I'd need to buy an R1 front end. Or I could use the R6 which is slightly shorter. Something to consider...

I spoke with my mechanic today. The engine is still with the builders who are taking their time with it. They had to build a special jig to get the barrels out. I'm worrying how much that's going to cost me!

The engine should come back next week, then the frame guys will bolt the block in, jig it up, and cut out and replace the rusted bit behind the oil cooler. Then it'll go to the powder coaters...

All sounding good Ray...loving the theme.
