No way Dan. Cafe Racers were a UK thing.

'fuck are you on about, you mentalist?....... it's about as cafe racer as I am a marathon runner.

you're not only wrong, you're ill informed.

handsome charm won't see you through this I'm afraid..... wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.

You haven't been arsed to google image "2015 XJR" and seen the "cafe racer" version then have you?

Scarily enough I see where Moz is coming from on the 2015 bike, I used to be a fan of the XJR but they've taken a wrong turn here (given I'm a Buell fan and can cope with a bit of brutal beauty that may be a surprise). Cafe Racers is a British thing but I think the big muscle bikes is very Jap (built for Euro markets tho)

So basically not the bike in the picture but a different bike CALLED a cafe racer?

No.... I've not.... Oddly enough I was referring to the bike in the picture which isn't a cafe racer, not a different bike.

Go find an empty lift to argue in knucklehead.......

While scanning biketrader last night I viewed a Yellow J2 in great condition.  Brought you to straight to mind Komp and your massive highside exiting the Melbourne Loop.

you mean this one

How that stayed rubber side down god only knows. (Did you not have 2 nearly identical or was that just the guy that binned his Gixer twice at the same point on the same day?)

That's the one, thanks Iain. Remember it being worse. Love the fact Komp kept the wire tight regardless.

You're thinking of the lad with the 750, his name escapes me now!

I remember that "almost highside" Komp had, it was me filming it :)
