Yes....No...Maybe.
Multiple choice answer. And did you really leave a Bike battery next to a Radiator....sigh x 100.

In his defence.....

Changed the regulator again , put a brand new , good brand battery in and absolutely nothing no power to anything , am I right in thinking the possibly dodgy battery may just have blown a fuse?

Or fried part of the wiring loom. I'm assuming you have checked each and every connections and Earth's.

From what I can see they all seem to be fine

does that mean you have actually checked or just had a quick look? Have you checked the fuse (normally 30amp I think) on the back of the starter relay?

Wasn't allowed to check properly as it's "family time"... Had a nose couldn't actually find the fuse box , I'm hoping it's just a fuse but my money would be on something more time consuming

Got to the main fuse , (with much cuts to my hands) blown to bits , changed that lights come on but h.i.s.s wouldn't disengage tried other key and it worked and then original worked so I've put it down to it possibly needing a moment , only thing I've not checked is if it's charging battery as my daughter has hidden the multi meter somewhere..... But it's looking good , started up nicely
